Taxes

Excessive confiscation of our hard-earned money goes against our foundational principles. We have the right to keep our honest earnings and make our own decisions on how it is spent. I support the New Hampshire advantage of no income or sales tax. Government should be limited in expenditures for institutions that serve essential services that defend and protect our liberties. Those services are mainly fire, police school and road infrastructure.

One of the core principles of freedom is ownership of property. It’s guaranteed in our U.S. and state constitutions. Our belongings and property are not just an extension of ourselves and dignity, the ability to own, use and sell property is the key foundation to our free way of life and liberty itself.

With few exceptions, all efforts should be towards limiting government and taxation to the above essentials.
